When I was on this trip, this quite amusing thing strike my mind that why are we travelling? I mean definitely to see this wonderful beauty of nature but besides that what is the real reason that we want to spend so much money and time on this activity in our life. And I realized that it is not only about the places that we visit that we are excited about, it is also the way we do that, the people we travel with and the things we experience throughout this process of travelling.
It all comes down to the way you like to see yourself travelling. If you are a solo traveller and you enjoy the whole experience that way then that is your idea behind travelling. The gist of what I am trying to say is that everyone has their own way of travelling and exploring different destinations, you just have to find yours!
Another thing that I always feel whenever I travel anywhere and see the beauty of nature is that we never realize this until we actually do that everything around us is processed so accordingly. I mean everything we see with our eyes, everything we feel, everything we hear is literally a projection of what we are in the purest form. Our worries, our problems just look so small in front of these gigantic mountains, silent rivers and blue sky.
]]>No matter what you do, where you live or which language you speak, there is one thing that is common among us all, which is Journey. Journey of life, work, relationships and myriad other things. But the way we go through that journey that’s what matter the most. I mean it does feel good when you achieve something but you know what feels even better than that? The process through which we have gone. The efforts that we have put in to achieve that goal. The journey before the journey.
Ever since I was a little kid, I used to tell my mom that I am really excited about the upcoming events. And as the day pass by and before the actual day, the excitement level is the most. That is the point when you feel the most alive. It doesn’t matter what the journey is about, it can be trip or a date or maybe an event. But the way you feel before the actual thing starts is the moment of liveliness.
When the actual journey begins our mindset changes and we start getting excited about other things that are ahead of us. And that is all part of the fun, I mean, I cannot imagine skipping that part from the whole story. The process is what it makes it what we have at the end. You skip that part, you miss the fun. Think of it this way, you want to go on a trip, there are two possible ways of make everything happen. First, you do it on your own and second, you hire someone to do it for you. The way I think of this situation is that, my journey has began from the day I decided to do something and without that part the destination is of no use.
Imagine you are going somewhere but you have a blindfold on your eyes, a headphone on your ears and you cannot really touch anything. In this situation, even if you went to the most beautiful place on the planet you will not be able to fully enjoy the destination, because you are missing the most integral part of it, which is the journey.
]]>So, as I have mentioned in some of my previous blogs as well, recently we decided to explore the beautiful province of Alberta. For the most part of the trip we travelled to the southern part of the province.
